He studied at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and thereafter carried on an itinerant Bible teaching and writing ministry, chiefly in the United States and Canada. Gibbs published his first book, \u003cem\u003eThe Marvelous City of Mansoul\u003c\/em\u003e, in 1926.
